VAST is currently in active development. Frequent changes may occur based on discoveries, new technologies and community feedback.

Founded: 2021

VAST began with the inception of StarLedger, a collection of 5000 Star NFTs that mirror actual stars within our galaxy.

Created by Chris Tate, a principal software engineer, and Crystal Tate, a frontend software engineer. The project began in 2021 when they pitched the StarLedger Star NFT collection idea during a Metis hackathon and were selected as the winning project for the NFT track.

Accelerated: 2022

Believing in the power of web3, the duo invested their winnings back into the project forming StarLedger, Inc. to begin building an ecosystem of digital experiences aimed at connecting people in web3 and across the globe.

The team has grown to include talented 3D artists, game developers, software engineers, data scientists, astrophysicists, and marketing professionals who are forging full steam ahead in bringing VAST into the world for all to enjoy. Alongside our team, we have the support of industry players to help guide us along our trajectory to help bolster the success of such a monumental achievement in web3.
